Anya’s aesthetic traverses all genres of design: classical, traditional, transitional, mid-century, eclectic, & modern.
Her trademark is a tasteful blend of then and now, modern and classic.
She creates custom high-end projects for clients with different visions and budgets.
Anya has a sense of taste that is elegant, classic and personalized, along with the constant attention to detail, and a desire to fulfill her clients’ dreams. Therefore, in the end, whether it’s one room or an entire house, the client’s home becomes a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

We believe in diligent attention to detail, listening to the wants and needs of our clients, respecting their vision and budget. Ultimately, our goal is to guide them creatively to the homes of their lifestyle and dreams, reflecting their character.
We create designs that are timeless while maintaining a striking interior that is unique, luxurious, functional, livable, comfortable, and – most importantly – speaks our client’s language. We always make sure that every project reflects the client’s unique personality and taste. Even if a certain unique item is not readily available, Anya will create it for you – because we believe in making dreams come true.
Anya’s sense of individuality, balance and continuity in the room reflects the personality of the occupants and her design flows in a well-balanced and harmonious rhythm throughout the entire home. Biography
Anya Ellia:
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anya Ellia was brought up around culture, creativity, and inspiration. With a family full of artists, architects, and dreamers, Anya was destined to excel in the field of interior design. Her art education started at the mere age of five at the Hermitage Museum Art School. Anya received a BFA and a MFA after excelling in the fine arts program at St. Petersburg Academy of Applied Arts. She continued her studies in fashion and interior design in the United States at the School of Art Institute of Chicago, as well as at New York School of Interior Design. Later, Anya Ellia worked in the Fashion and Textile Design Industry.
In 2001, Anya established Anya Ellia Interiors to apply her talent to interior design, which manifests her extensive knowledge of classical fine art, profound design experience and her love for colors and textures. From there, her career has skyrocketed. In 2007, Anya was featured in New York Spaces Magazine as one on the “10 Best Young Designers under 40.” Within the next year, Anya was featured in “Home and Garden” section of New Jersey’s Star-Ledger.
Anya’s one–of-a-kind approach is achieved through her custom designed lighting, furniture, carpets, and textiles.
Currently, Anya Ellia is an active member of the Interior Design Society, the International Furnishings and Design Association, and honorary board member of the Historical Society of South Orange. She resides and works in Maplewood, New Jersey.
