This Manhattan Penthouse was designed for a cosmopolitan intellectual and businessman raised in Barcelona and educated in the US. The client has a refined taste and love for chic modern design that is seen throughout the home. The designer created a new kitchen that opens to the living room featuring hidden appliances and sleek details. The unique porcelain chandelier was shipped from England, creating a focal point in the dining area. Fine wooden furniture adds warmth to the otherwise minimalist modern interior. Dissatisfied by all ready-made fabrics, the client envisioned a fabric featuring a white oriental screen with colorful birds. Anya Ellia custom designed the fabric, which was then woven in Italy. Working together she made the client’s dream come true.
